Orienteering is an outdoor navigation sport where you use a detailed map and compass to locate checkpoints across varied terrain. It combines strategy, speed, problem-solving, and exploration—think of it as a real-world treasure hunt! Join us for the Jr. O Champs & Shamrock Hunt, hosted by the Miami Valley Orienteering Club. This fast-paced, fun, and family-friendly orienteering adventure is perfect for beginners, seasoned navigators, runners, hikers, and first-time explorers alike. The club will give basic instructions to beginners.
Please wear sturdy hiking shoes/boots and dress for the weather as well as possible off-trail hiking. Start time is between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm, with a two-hour time limit to complete the course. Event will be held rain or shine!
